Eid Celebration =)

As all Muslims in Malaysia and it's neighboring country already knew, we all had such merry festival in the first day of Syawal month, celebrating Eid in very uniting and bonding way...

A month of test and faith fortifying had passed though.

For me, in my years of Eid days, this year had been quite different in ways and its chronologies. Since both my grandparents had passed away peacefully, I had been left with no hometown to return back for Eid. But all was not lost.

Gathering in my relative's house was such harmonious memories. The usual green packet giving was rewarding, of course for the young generation. I still got some though =)

Pictures to tell how my Eid days went.

Tadaa..
My family, all in full dressing, suits the Eid theme :)

Being the only boy T.T

Mom's garden can be awarding to the eyes ;D

Well, forgive and forget

Bit of snippets:
After performing Raya prayer in the city mosque, my father and I was delighted when returned to home
Traditional cuisine was hot and freshly served on the tables
Kuih that was made (bit of it) and bought ( a lot) will guaranteed to please the toddlers and children were arranged neatly

When the clock struck at noon, my family and I embarked on so called Raya tour..
First stop, was my fathers' parent rest place
After that, straight to kampung, way south

The grass is greener somewhere

A short visit to my kampung in Muar, Johor
Welcomed by relatives that also came to visit

After the short visit, we went to my aunt place in Seremban and stayed for a night

View from the house

The sky never fail to please my photography passion =)

A bare land

This was my mom's parent of rest place
We went there together with my aunt's family
Year after year, a visit to the place remind me of the song
Pergi Tak Kembali by Rabbani
I reminisced silently, the meaning of the song

Grief feeling, had fading slowly as we approaching my another aunt house

This was quite patriotic setting ;D

Here, I was happy to greet my cousins in there
We had some chat and eating together

Actually want to capture the scenery view
But I don't mind about the man ;)

Green packet =)

Alas, what can I say that, the Raya tour went smoothly, but not as merry as the year before
My stomach had ached, signaling the extensive amount of food that was consumed, from house to house
